Instructions
Joining the squares (Make 2 square panels):
Using the picture below as a guide, lay the squares in order, 3 squares horizontally and 3 squares vertically:

Join squares vertically then horizontally (order shown by red arrows) on RS by working from the top throughout, *1 SC in CH 2 corner SP of bottom square (Pic 1), CH 1, 1 SC in CH 2 corner SP of the opposite square on top (Pic 2), CH 1, SK 1 ST on the opposite square, {1 SC in bottom square (Pic 3), CH 1, SK 1 ST, 1 SC in top square (Pic 4), CH 1, SK 1 ST} 11 times, 1 SC in CH 2 corner SP of bottom square (Pic 5), CH 1, 1 SC in CH 2 corner SP of top square (Pic 6), CH 1, get your next bottom square, 1 SC in CH 2 corner SP of that square (Pic 7), CH 1, get your next top square, 1 SC in CH 2 corner SP of that square (Pic 8)* repeat from *to* as many times as needed to join all squares vertically, omitting last instruction of getting your next squares at the end of each row of joining.
Extra help: You can watch a short video of the steps above if you are more visual here: https://youtu.be/MmHlRLi4ePk)
(Note: Make sure to not twist the joining of the squares after the first vertical join. To prevent it from happening, you can join your squares together through the corners on the side with a stitch marker to keep them in place)
When joining the squares horizontally, repeat the instructions above. When you get to the corners of the squares, do everything as you did before, making sure your horizontal joining chains are above the vertical joining. (Pic 9) (Note: horizontal joining marked with red arrows, vertical is marked with green on Pic 9)
Extra help: You can watch a short video of this join if you are more visual here: https://youtu.be/HF5xun4gj2k)
Fasten off after each completed join and weave in all ends.

Finishing:
Round 1: Join yarn with a standing DC (video help of how to make a standing double crochet: https://youtu.be/mE51DQl8TpY) to any CH 2 corner SP, CH 2, 1 DC into CH 2 SP (corner)(Pic 1), [1 DC in next 23 STS (Pic 2), 1 DC in CH 2 SP, 1 DC around the next CH 1 SP of joining row, 1 DC around the SC of joining row, 1 DC in next CH 2 SP (Pic 3), 1 DC in next 23 STS, 1 DC in CH 2 SP, 1 DC around the next CH 1 SP of joining row, 1 DC around the SC of joining row, 1 DC in next CH 2 SP, 1 DC in next 23 STS, {2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC} in next CH 2 corner SP (corner)] 4 times, omitting instruction for last corner, put 1 DC in first corner, join with a SLST to first DC (Pic 4)
Total: 308 DC
Per side: 77 DC
Corner: 2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC

Round 2: SLST to CH 2 corner SP, CH 1, {1 DC, CH 2, 2 DC} into CH 2 SP (corner)(Pic 1), 1 DC in each ST on side (Pic 2), [{2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC} into CH 2 SP (corner), 1 DC in each ST on side] 3 times, 1 DC in first corner, join with a SLST to first DC
Total: 324 DC
Per side: 81 DC
Corner: 2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC
Fasten off, weave in all ends.

As you have 2 squares (one for each side), line them up, facing with the right side.
Start in one of the corners and start sewing the sides together through the back loops only with the yarn left from the project. (Pic 1)
Keep sewing and when you sew 3 sides together, turn it inside out, insert the pillow form and sew the last side pieces together, then weave your loose ends in. (Pic 2-3)
