Let’s continue our journey together of crocheting, experimenting and trying new stitches out while making Mythia!
In this part, we’ll build the four sides up for the little squares to be joined in Part 5.

Instructions
Note: In this part, you will work in rows instead of rounds to build the sides up.
IMPORTANT: If you notice that the first few rows are very wavy or ruffling, I suggest to use a smaller hook.
Sides: (Repeat the instructions (Rows 46-61) once on all four sides)
Row 46: Join C3 (Turquoise) with a standing DC in the 2nd ST after the corner (Pic 1) (That’s the first BPSC stitch of the side) (Note: Put a SM into the first ST which will mark your starting point in Row 61; You won’t work into this ST until Row 61), SK 2 STS, {1 Puff ST, CH 1, 1 Puff ST, CH 1, 1 Puff ST} in next ST (Pic 2), SK 2 STS, [1 DC in next 5 STS (Pic 3), SK 2 STS, {1 Puff ST, CH 1, 1 Puff ST, CH 1, 1 Puff ST} in next ST, SK 2 STS (Pic 4)] 11 times (Pic 5), 1 DC in next ST (Pic 6) (That’s the second last ST of the side, the last BPSC ST) (Note: Put a SM into the last ST which will mark your ending point in Row 61; You won’t work into this ST until Row 61)

Row 47: CH 2 (You can CH 3 if your chains are tight) (counts as DC throughout) (You can use the stacked SC method if you prefer, video help on this method: https://youtube.com/shorts/_OhMrRY-FLA?si=mBhWIT-dIGd1k-ZT), 1 DC in each ST and CH 1 SP to end

Rows 53-60: Repeat Rows 49-52 twice more
Fasten off.
Row 61: Join C9 (Blue Apatite) with a SLSTto the first ST after the corner of Round 45 (Pic 1) (This is marked with a SM and located on the right side of the rows you just completed), SC 36 evenly on right side (Pic 2), {1 SC, CH 2, 1 SC} in top of first ST (counts as a corner) (Pic 3), 1 SC in each ST and CH 1 SP (Pic 4), {1 SC, CH 2, 1 SC} in last ST (counts as a corner) (Pic 5), SC 36 evenly on left side, SLST to the last ST before the corner of Round 45 (Pic 6-7) (This is marked with a SM and located on the left side of the rows you just completed) (Pics 8-9) Fasten off.
Total: 187 SC
Corner: 1 SC, CH 2, 1 SC
