Hello all,
Let’s continue our journey together of crocheting, experimenting and trying new stitches out while making Mythia!
In this part, we’ll make 4 little squares and then join them to the corners to make the blanket whole again.
If you want to refresh your memory before start, you can find all of the information about the CAL HERE.

Joining the little squares to the corners (Repeat it 4 times):
Lay the main piece and the little squares down with RS facing up.
Crochet the squares to the main blanket (Direction shown with red arrows), using the ZigZag slip stitch joining method.

Extra help: You can watch a short video of the steps below if you are more visual here:
1. To start: With C2 (Morganite) make a slip knot. (Pic 1)
2. Take the slip knot off your hook. Insert hook into the CH 2 corner space of the main piece then pull it through. (Pics 2-3)
3. Insert your hook into the CH 2 corner space of the little square, from top to bottom (keep the yarn under the hook and squares), yarn over and pull through. (like a SLST) (Pics 4-5)
4. SLST into the next ST of the main piece. (Pics 6-7)
5. SLST into the next ST of the little square square. (remember to keep the yarn under the hook and squares) (Pics 8-9)
6. Keep slip stitching this way (Pic 10), until you get to the corner spaces, SLST to the CH 2 SP of the main blanket first (Pic 11) and then SLST to the CH 2 SP of the little square. (Pic 12)
(Note: do not make the SLSTS too loose or too tight and make sure to SLST through ALL STS!)
7. Keep slip stitching on the other side (Pic 13) and when you get to the end, SLST to the CH 2 SP of the main piece (Pic 14) and then SLST to the CH 2 SP of the little square (Pic 15)
Fasten off and weave in all ends.

After joining the little squares to the corners, your blanket should measure approx.:
42โ x 42โ / 107 x 107 cm
Round 62: Join C2 (Morganite) with a standing SC in any CH 2 corner SP, {CH 2, 1 SC} in same SP (corner) (Pic 1), [1 SC in next 37 STS (Pic 2) , 1 SC in next CH 2 SP (Pic 3), SK joining line, 1 SC in next CH 2 SP (Pic 4), 1 SC in next 117 STS (Pic 5), 1 SC in next CH 2 SP, SK joining line, 1 SC in next CH 2 SP (Pic 6), 1 SC in next 37 STS (Pic 7), [{1 SC, CH 2, 1 SC} in next CH 2 corner SP (corner) (Pic 8), [1 SC in next 37 STS, 1 SC in next CH 2 SP, SK joining line, 1 SC in next CH 2 SP, 1 SC in next 117 STS, 1 SC in next CH 2 SP, SK joining line, 1 SC in next CH 2 SP, 1 SC in next 37 STS] 3 times, join with a SLST to first SC
Total: 780 SC
Per Side: 195 SC
Corner: 1 SC, CH 2, 1 SC

Round 63: SLST to CH 2 SP, CH 1, [{1 DC, CH 2, 1 DC} in CH 2 corner SP (corner) (Pic 1), 1 DC in each ST on side (Pic 2)] 4 times, join with a SLST to first DC
Fasten off.
Total: 788 DC
Per Side: 197 DC
Corner: 1 DC, CH 2, 1 DC

Round 64: Join C7 (Coral) with a standing SC in any CH 2 corner SP, {CH 2, 1 SC} in same SP (corner) (Pic 1), 1 BPSC around each ST on side (Pic 2), [{1 SC, CH 2, 1 SC} in CH 2 corner SP (corner), 1 BPSC around each ST on side] 3 times, join with a SLST to first SC
Fasten off.
Total: 796 BPSC
