I absolutely love designing shawls recently as I love gifting them to the people I truly care about. This shawl is named after my husband’s aunt and she chose these beautiful autumn colored whirl too.
Enjoy my newest design, which is super easy and quick to make!
I hope you’ll find it as beautiful as me.

Additional notes:
- If a row/round starts with a Chain 1, it is not counted as a stitch, unless stated otherwise.
- CH 3 always counts as double crochet
- Slip stitches do not count as stitches.
- From Row 25, I wrote the instructions in a Section, which is going to be repeated and I’ll refer to this section in the repeats further in the pattern (e.g. repeat Section)
- In a separate file, I included the detailed stitch count for each row to keep your work tracked easily
- US terms used throughout
- At the end of the row, there’s going to be a note with the stitch count, so you can keep track of your work easily and avoid any mistakes. It’s written in a different color, the first line in bold is always the total stitch count for the row, under that, I included a stitch count per side in case you prefer it that way.
- Notes are written in (brackets) to help you through the pattern.
- You can start each round as I did in the pattern or you can use a standing stitch or chains, it’s totally up to you!
