Gauge: 5 half double crochet stitches and 3 rows = 1″ / 2.5cm
Additional notes:
- If a row/round starts with a Chain 1 or 2, this is not counted as a stitch, unless stated otherwise.
- Slip stitches do not count as stitches.
- CH 3 always counts as double crochet.
- US terms used throughout
- At the end of every round, there’s going to be a note with the stitch count, so you can keep track of your work easily and avoid any mistakes. It’s written in a different color; the first line in bold is always the total stitch count for the round (starting with round 18, this excludes corner stitches). Below that, I included a stitch count per side (excluding corner stitches) and per corner too, in case you prefer it that way.
- When working on the corners, always remember that there might be a hidden stitch hiding under the corner stitches which is the first stitch of the previous row
- When you make a normal puff stitch, it creates 2 loops on its top. I will refer to these loops as first loop and second loop. The first loop is always the one on the right and the second one is on the left.
- Notes are written in a different color in (brackets) to help you through the pattern.
- You can start each round as I did in the pattern or you can use a standing stitch or chains, it’s totally up to you!

I’m getting ready to start on part 4 and there have been a few commits about corrections or changes to the pattern. I printed it out when it was free from your website and haven’t checked in a while. I looked today but not sure where to check for corrections. Its a lovely pattern. You are an amazing woman and creator of things. Its lovely. I’m using finger weight yarn so its taking longer and a lot more yarn witch is fine. since i have soooo much. If you have the changes I would love them. Thank you again for a lovely pattern.

I’ve updated the files on Ravelry and I have sent an email every time to let everyone know what are the changes. Also, I fixed the pattern on the blog too so everything should be fine. I can’t tell you what were the corrections as it’s been a few months ago and I can’t remember but they weren’t huge errors, just some typos and stitch count changes. ☺️
